The Precision Turned Parts Manufacturing Association of Ireland is proud to host the 2018 International SID Congress.
The Congress will be held in the city of Limerick situated in the West of Ireland. Some travelling by coach will bring us to nearby regions for factory visits at companies of our industry.
The program is set up to give you an insight into the future of our industry.
The core of the programme is three days of interesting factory visits to leading companies in the region and a full day congress meeting with several presentations on forward-looking subjects.

We have also arranged a programme for family members and other accompanying participants. We are planning sightseeing tours both within Limerick and in the adjacent counties of Clare & Kerry, including visits to the word-renowned Cliffs of Moher and the Burren, a world natural and cultural heritage nearby.

The next edition of SIMODEC, International Bar Turning Machine Tool Show, will take place from Tuesday 6th to Friday 9th March, 2018 at the Haute-Savoie Exhibition Center in LA ROCHE SUR FORON, FRANCE. Created in 1954, SIMODEC has become one of the top global meeting points for the bar turning industry, machining, and production of parts for the automotive, aerospace, railway, connector, watch and medical industries as well as all chip removal activities.

May 19th, 2017 | SID Steering Committee 2017
May 19th is coming soon, and ADECAT is very proud to host the next SID SC Meeting in Barcelona, Spain. The program for all invited delegates is:
- Welcome dinner on Thursday 18th at 9.00 pm at El Nacional Restaurant.
- On Friday 19th SC Meeting will take place at the Hotel Barcelona Center between 9.30 and 1.00 pm. After the meeting a lunch in the same hotel will follow. This hotel is placed in the very city center, and pretty closed to the main shop streets and historical best architecture buildings.
- After lunch, we will go to one of the main beautiful attractions in Barcelona, La Pedrera building (by architect Antoni Gaudí), to start a guided tour. The weather by that time is expected sunny and warm.
After this, all delegates and guests can feel free to arrange different activities by their own.
April 19-22th, 2016 | SIAMS – the Fair Right at the Centre of the Microtechnology Market
From April 19th till April 22nd, 2016, the fair will open its gates in Moutier for the 15th time. More than 430 highly specialized exhibitors will be on site to present their products, services, and solutions dedicated to the entire production chain of microtechnology with a focus on high precision turning.

The German Turned Parts Industry Association is proud to host the 2016 SID Congress in June, 19-24, in Cologne, and invite you all very heartily to Germany.

The hotel selected for the above meeting is the Mont Clare Hotel in Dublin, located in the center of Dublin close to the Government Buildings.
PTMA Ireland invites all delegates and their partners “who can make it” to Dinner on the 4th June at 7.30 p.m. Assembly in the Mont Clare hotel reception area at 7.15 p.m. On Friday the 5th June the SID Steering Committee meeting will take place between 9.30 a.m. and 1.00 p.m.

We have the pleasure to announce that Mr. Jordi Farrés step up the position as President in the last ADECAT General Assembly.
